About
Experienced Personal Injury Attorney
Steve is a native of California, born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. He graduated from Reseda High School in the San Fernando Valley and attended what is now California State University Northridge, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He was accepted to Southwestern University School of Law and graduated in 1974 in the top of his class.
Steve met his partner, Jim Vititoe, in 1974, while they were both enrolled at Southwestern Law School and they have been friends and business associates for nearly 40 years. Following his admission to the California State Bar, Steve worked for three of California's largest home building companies as their General Counsel.
In 1987, Steve founded Accident Attorneys in Lancaster to represent people critically injured in all types of personal injury related claims. Recognized in the Antelope Valley for superior results and professionalism, the firm operates out of the same building Steve bought more than 30 years ago.
Steve practices almost exclusively in the Antelope Valley. In 2005, Jim's partner, Ed Masry died, and Steve and Jim became partners in the Accident Attorneys law practice.

Trustworthy Representation for Clients in Antelope Valley
The results achieved by Steve are the reason his clients and colleagues continually refer their family members and friends to Accident Attorneys. Steve attended the prestigious Straus Institute of Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University and was appointed a panel mediator by the Los Angeles County Superior Court system.
Steve has been assigned hundreds of cases by the court system and has developed an expertise in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration, the ever-increasing method of resolving lawsuits outside of the court system.
Outside the Courtroom
Steve is an active member of his community and for the past 10 years has served as a Planning Commissioner, several times serving as the City's Planning Chairman. An avid cyclist and frequent triathlete, Steve is acutely aware of the issues involved when bicycle riders, and motorcyclists, collide with motor vehicles and has achieved impressive results for those persons injured by negligent motorists.
In 2011, Consumer Attorneys of California, the statewide trial lawyers organization, nominated Steve as one of five finalists for their "Trial Lawyer of the Year" award as a result of his work on a product liability case that resulted in one of the largest child death results in State history.
